Dzongu HomeStay

Himalayan home stays in Sikkim amidst traditional environment and tranquil surroundings

Tingvong Hom StayDzongu is the Lepcha Reservation in North Sikkim and home to 7,000 Lepchas.  It is a beautiful four hour drive from Gangtok passed many places of interest including Seven Sisters Waterfall, Phodong and Phensong monasteries, the ruins of Tumlong Palace and the site of the Lepcha-Bhutia brotherhood treaty which led to the formation of the Kingdom of Sikkim – Kabi Lunchok.

Dzongu is a protected place where Lepcha language and culture has been preserved for centuries.  It is also a sacred place where many mountains, lakes and caves are considered sacred by Buddhists everywhere.
